Fly-In to a True Wilderness Setting on Kabinakagami Lake

Remotely located, Kaby Lodge operates as a ‘fly-in only’ wilderness resort that invites you to experience the wilderness vacation of a lifetime. Kaby Lodge is located 45 miles northeast of White River in Northern Ontario’s Algoma Country at the south end of Kabinakagami Lake. Trophy fishing for Walleye and Northern Pike is a memorable experience as a result of hundreds of miles of shoreline created by more than 140 islands on ‘Big Kaby Lake’. This breathtaking body of water covers over 30,802 acres and it’s average water depth is 20-24 ft. deep with deeper channels in certain areas; all of which is ideal for the fly-in fishing enthusiast.

Kaby Lodge is an independently owned and operated fly-in lodge dedicated to providing you with an exciting and safe experience offering the best in American Plan and Housekeeping packages. Join us for some of Ontario’s finest home cooked meals, sport and fantastic fly-fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Brook Trout, Yellow Perch and Whitefish.

Hunters join us annually for some of Northern Ontario’s finest wilderness bow and rifle hunting experiences for a prized black bear, moose or timberwolf.

Tom and Michel pride themselves on carrying on the tradition of unparalleled customer service that their family has committed to since 1946 as evidenced by hundreds of satisfied guests that return to Kaby Lodge on an annual basis.

Come Experience the Magnificent Beauty of Kabinakagami Lake

Kabinakagami Lake has been known for years as a “fishing mecca”, boasting spectacular populations of Walleye and Northern Pike. Big Kaby Lake has long been a favourite fishing and hunting destination for visitors from Canada, the United States and from countries around the world.

In the fall, we welcome hunters who are after the plentiful and huge Black Bear, Moose, Timber Wolves and Waterfowl that our area is famous for. Fully and semi-guided hunts with experienced guides who specialize in both gun and archery hunts in an area we are exceptionally familiar with, offer the hunter a memorable excursion.

Guests who seek a more laid back vacation experience can explore the great expanses of one of the largest remote inland lakes in Northern Ontario whose pristine waters offer the chance to swim or paddle in the waters of Algoma’s largest inland lake. Wildlife abound in our remote location offering the photographer, bird watcher and Eco-tourist abundant opportunities to capture and remember their day.
