Guest Services at Kaby Lodge

Hunting and Fishing Guides:

If it this is your first time up to Lake Kabinakagami, Kaby Lodge can provide you with a guide for your excursions. Our guides can help you acclimatize to the area and point you in the right direction to either the catch of your life or your first prize game. Many newcomers to the lake like to hire a guide for their first or second day, to teach them where to fish and how to prepare a freshly caught shore lunch.

Kaby Lodge provides guides for the following:

• Fishing
• Archery Hunts
• Rifle Hunts

Please Note: Kaby Lodge guide services are subject to availability and advance booking is required, for those fishing guests who wish to use the services of a guide is required.

Experienced Guide services are included in all Moose Hunting Packages.

Modified guiding services are provided for all Black Bear Hunts.

Boats and Equipment:

Watson’s Kaby Lodge accepts responsibility for having all equipment in good running order when taken by our guests.  Guests in return are responsible for all damage to marine equipment they are using and must exercise care while operating the equipment provided.
Large 16ft aluminum boats equipped with a dependable 20 H.P. Yamaha four stroke motors and fishfinders are included with all packages.

Requirements for Boat Use:

• An acceptance of liability agreement and boaters check list will be provided upon arrival and prior to use of marine equipment.
• In compliance with Provincial regulations boaters born after 1980 must have a valid operator’s certificate issued by their home state or province to operate marine equipment.
• Personal Flotation Vests (PFD) Required: Government regulations require all boaters to wear a PFD.  We will provide PFD’s at the lodge, but you may also choose to bring your own for your own personal comfort.

Special Needs:

Arrangements can be made in advance for handicapped accommodations, as well as any special dietary needs.

Internet Acess:

We offer wireless internet connections at the main lodge for all Kaby Lodge guests.
