Celebrate Your Own Earth Day this Summer

Earth Day may be behind us, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t celebrate the Earth every day!

Earth DayOur Kaby Wilderness Camera Hunts give you the perfect opportunity to view Mother Nature at her best. Your trip will feature evening bear walks and natural moose viewings, giving you plenty of opportunity to discover the joy and beauty of simply observing nature and its creatures in their natural habitat. Use your camera to capture the most breathtaking views you could imagine, all with the help of our experienced guide and wildlife expert.

Back at the lodge, take advantage of the shorefront location by going for a dip in the lake. For those who prefer to travel on top of the waves, we offer paddle boats, kayaks and canoes to explore at their leisure. Check out the dozens of species of birds and water fowl while you’re paddling around, as well, including ospreys, bald eagles and more.

After your swim or boat ride, hike down to the Old Hiawatha gold mine site – a great destination for rockhounds. Check out the scenery of the area and learn about the local history, or go fishing off the docks in the morning and spend that afternoon playing horseshoes. Unwind after dinner with some marshmallows and a cocktail at the fire pit, and show off the awesome photos you took throughout the day!
